Google Makes a Contribution Of Over 50 Crore For Education Betterment In India

The IT giant Google.org has announced to contribute $8.4 million (a little over Rs 54 crore) to 4 major Indian NGOs. The four chosen NGOs are- Learning Equality, Million Sparks Foundation, Pratham Books Story Weaver, and Pratham Education Foundation. Over next two years this funding will be on process so that these NGOs can spread out and increase their helping hands for improving educational infrastructure of the nation. These grants are part of a universal $50 dollar vow that the company has made for the groups of people working on tech-based learning solution.
Google.org gives an estimation to the ministry of human resources development, showing that about 260 million children are enrolled in schools across the country presently and a survey by Pratham Education that says 50% of all children in the fifth grade can’t read a second grade text or solve a two-digit subtraction problem.

Google.org said that under the Right to education act 2010 India has come a long way in terms of educational development and expanding the reach. But this time their concern is the quality of the lessons given. It pitches that the studies cite enfeeblement in entry level learning process. Back to the financial aid distribution Pratham Books-StoryWeaver has ensnared the largest grant at $3.6 million. This company crafted an open-sourced platform for translating book. $3.1 million has been donated to Pratham Education which provides children self-induced offline lessons for getting educated under any environment. Million Sparks Foundation received $1.2 million. The company unites teachers to generate a knowledge sharing community. Learning Equality, an organization provides digital content offline for students without net connectivity, bagged $500,000.

The company said in an official statement, "MHRD data indicates there are about 260 million children enrolled in schools across the country, but a recent survey by Pratham Education reveals 50 per cent of all children in 5th grade cannot read a 2nd grade text or do a two-digit subtraction problem."
"We believe technology can help bridge the gap, it can get more books to students, more lesson plans to teachers, and classrooms to kids who can't get there themselves.  At Google.org, we are committed to support and work alongside these organizations to bridge the quality education gap," said Nick Cain, program manager (education) at Google.org.

These entire financial donations in India will hub on three prior areas where technology can be used to look up the class of education. The company said, "First is to make available quality learning material that overcome language and connectivity gaps. Second is to provide better training and support to teachers as they are keys to educational outcomes. Finally, it is to support students beyond classroom learning."
Meanwhile Google has also invested in NGOs working in Brazil and Kenya. All these NGOs associated with products relevant to multiple markets.

Grasp The World With The Means Of Education

Every living being in the society has individual thought practice, where humans differ from the others is for their progressive thinking for a better mankind and only education can drive rational and logical thinking. A country’s development entirely leans on the literacy level. Precisely not average, but better education only can hand out a well-versed path for future. As we all know, most of the people think education is essential for a great job, great profile and prominence in the society; eventually it’s true but to some extent. Proper knowledge doesn’t encourage any ranking system in the society. Being the best free online education portal in India here we shall discuss how education can indeed fetch positive change in the society.

Education has the omnipotence to challenge the entire mankind. Otherwise, the word ‘civilization’ wouldn’t have been stalked by the far-offs bit-by-bit. Education can dream up health, environment, economy, and infrastructure everything smoothly rolling. Every process of education ends up with making you a better person or a self-dependent person in particular. It encourages people to dream big. Basically the entire education system is divided into three segments- primary, secondary and higher education. Kids are sent to primary schools, then high schools and then college and universities which is a constant process to complete the circle of permanence and capacity. Embarking on knowledge through education people develop a fine power of listening. Not everybody is equal in memorizing. Apart from practicing, listening helps them to remove the helix.

For students who think that education is a humdrum process of tutorials, let’s tell you education does never mean whale-like books with full of doctrines. Even physical activity is very much a part of education. School going is not a routine, it’s imperative. There’s nothing on this globe that should be better left unknown.  Thus the course of learning should be simple, yet effective. The aim of your life starts getting well-defined with the course of education. By enrolling your favorite subject for higher education, you make a step forward to advance education. Education is the only means that lends a hand in the progress of critical analysis of any situation. For an illiterate person right or wrong almost has the similar value. It’s education that brings out presence of mind or independent decision.

Education neither upholds any reservation nor does it create any discrimination based on the gender or race. Thus, spreading out knowledge is always a constructive move living on your surroundings and your society. People get remembered for their contribution to the society. Your profession is your identity within your environs. Mass remembers the one who does something incredible in his/her lifetime in any field of active performance. People with the higher intellectual wealth always hold a hearty status in the society. Only knowledge is constant. And the fun part is once you start stretching the sphere of knowledge it will never oppose you. It will give you thrills when you explore admiration of your knowledge in others perspectives. Thus, not for achieving success, educate yourself to excel as competition is within you, against yourself.

Indian Students Rally Round Subsidize Education Costs in UK

Making mention of major slump in students coming to study at the UK universities over the last few years, he brought out the fact that there were other countries that were more convivial.

If Learning Can’t Satisfy You Then Nothing Can

Kolkata- Earl Nightingale once said, "Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your’’ Anybody who helps you learning anything or giving you new lessons is a teacher to you could be your guardian/school teacher/tutor/ professor or even a leading search engine. If learning something new doesn’t cheer you up then not necessarily you are at fault. It could be the slipup in the method of teaching or the subject itself indifferent to you. Here in the India leading education portal we discuss how learning can bright up your present and future days.

It’s seen that average adult people read less than a book in a year. Let’s you a secret today- leaders are learners too. Learning is the key of success. The more you learn the better image of yours you build for your coming days. Student life is the period while you get time bound learning session to achieve your certified degree to ensure your professional presence. Rest learning can circulate throughout the lifetime of yours. Learn to improve your skill on if not everything then at least on any particular subject of preference.

Always remember while learning something new definitely you face some complications but they can never be unobtainable. Working with all the grey matters can actually pave many effective ways for an easier learning. Again well-acquired knowledge never can indulge any kind of nepotism or gender inequity. Reading 30-60 minutes a day renders into a book per week. That sums up to 50 books per year, which then totals 500 books over the next 10 years. Increase your retaining capacity with regular learning lest your contemporary people are ahead of your competition. Make your learning process crisp and interesting on your own. Because, it’s you who can understand self capacity and requirement better than even your teacher.

India is Prodigal To Educate its Young Populace

In India there are four states which have the lowest literacy rates according to the Census 2011. These states are- Bihar, Madhya Pradesh (MP), Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh (UP). Out of the 1.2 billion population of the nation 445.1 million people coming from these states are apparently out of basic level literacy. Being the leading education portal in India let’s contemplate why the country has some adverse scenario being in the track of progress?

By 2020 India will have the largest population with approx 869 million. However the reports say that India is still inefficient to educate its young population. The recent survey was conducted in the four states of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh on the base of literacy, school enrollment, learning effects, and education with 43.6% of India's school-age population between the ages of five and fourteen.

In terms of literacy level the country has wide variation exists across the individual states. Census reports highlight that India's literacy rate has improved 8.66 points to 74.04% between 2001 and 2011.

Literacy rates of the states
Bihar had a literacy rate of 61.8%, Rajasthan of 67.1%, UP of 67.7 %and MP a rate of 70.6% in 2011, less than the all-India average of 74%. Kerala has a literacy level of 94%, the highest in the country. School results are also inferior in the four BIMARU states.

At present, only 2.5% of school-age children between the ages of 5 and 14 from these four states - Kerala, Mizoram, Tripura and Goa - with the highest literacy percentage in India, in comparison to 43.6% in the four BIMARU states, said Census 2011.

In Maharashtra, the literacy rate was 82.3% in 2011. Whereas the predictable life anticipation rate for those took birth during 2011-16 was 70.4 years, declared in the Population Reference Bureau report. In comparison, MP, with an inferior literacy rate of 70.6%, also held a lower estimated life expectancy rate of 61.5 years for 2011-16. School admission is thus affected by a number of factors such as parent's education, domestic wealth, midday meals, infrastructure and more.

Pass percentage in schools
During 2014-15, fewer students got promoted from standard five to grade six in UP, with a transition rate of 79.1%. While a small state like Goa, had a transition rate of almost 100% in 2014-15, according to data from the Unified District Information System for Education.
Petrifying education condition of some states.

In MP, hardly 34.1% of children in grade 5 have the capability to read a grade II text in 2014, where the percentage was 75.2 in Himachal Pradesh, as per the Annual Status of ASER 2014. Correspondingly, in Rajasthan, 45.9% of children in grade V could "at least" withhold compared to 87.4% in Mizoram.

Major obstructions in educational development

The efficiency of India's young population would have a growth on the process of advancement in health, education and employment prospects, according to a 2013 study of in Asia and Pacific Policy Studies. Life expectancy at birth, one of the crying factors found to disservice the literacy in India, according to a 2005 World Bank study, varies across states.

Still, the BIMARU states spend less on educational development than their more literate equivalents. For example MP spends Rs 11,927 ($175) per student, while Tamil Nadu spends Rs 16,914 per student, the Economic and Political Weekly reported in September 2016.
